The Pursuit of Excellence at The Golf Course at Adare Manor
During the winter closure of The Golf Course at Adare Manor, our dedicated greenkeeping team have been working tirelessly to prepare the course for the golfing season. We have been following them over the last few months to share with you just some of the work that they do every day – all for the love of the game of golf and the pursuit of excellence for our players who will join us over the coming season.
Their work has included the aeration of 61 hectares of fairways and rough, the adjusting of sand depths in all 42 bunkers, the cleaning out and reshaping of 5 hectares of mulch beds, the repair and replacement of 15,000 pitch marks in all greens, the hand-picking of any undesirable weed grasses from our 3 hectares of greens and surrounds, the cleaning of all 14 bridges and stone work, the lifting and levelling of 1291 sprinkler heads and boxes, and much more.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to our golf course from Saturday, 16th of March. Call our Pro Shop team to make a booking on 061 605 279.
